Library Hours
In honor of the last week of school and finals, we’ll be having library-study hours to help you be productive during these last few weeks of school. Study with other Epic-ers this week at the library and/or 24-hour room. Use this google doc to see who will be studying at certain times of the day! Also, fill in when and where you will be studying so others can find you too!

Asian Pacific Islander Leadership Retreat (APILR)
The annual APILR is coming up February 3-5, 2012! Take this chance to become educated active advocates for our community. The title this year is “Making the A: Awakening, Activism & Advocacy.” This is a weekend-long retreat aimed at helping students of UC Davis become educated about Asian/Pacific Islander (API) issues that concern all of us. To apply, please visit the Cross Cultural Center (CCC) website. Applications are due DECEMBER 2ND!

Epic Conference
Coming up MLK Weekend (January 13-16), all the Epic Movements in the West Coast will be meeting together in San Francisco for an annual conference! This year’s title is “Awaken: Stirring a Distracted Generation into an Uprising of Love” (Similar to that of APILR!) Do not miss out on this opportunity to meet Christians from other schools and movements and to see what God has in store for you! Early registration is only $189 and ends DECEMBER 9TH!. LGBT Resource Center Volunteer Applications
If you are looking for internship/volunteer opportunities, look no further! The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Resource Center (LGBTRC) is offering internships/volunteer opportunities to anyone who is willing to make our campus a safer and accepting place. For volunteering, a minimum of 2 hours/week is required. For internship, a minimum of 4 hours/week is required. Since the LGBTRC is moving to its new location at the Student Community Center (SCC), we need all the help we can get running the center from the new location. Applications are due JANURARY 5TH! If interested or have questions, comments, concerns, etc, please contact Alex.

Every Friday at 11:33, we go out to the Extension Center located behind the Rec Pool to make friends with and possibly share the gospel with the international students that come from all over the world. Some come from Japan, Korea, and China while others come from Venezuela, Columbia, Argentina, Spain, and Germany just to name a few. Come and experience what it feels like to make new friends and to share the Gospel of Jesus.
